I've never been a fan of microfiber towels, so when I received the towel from Joolca as a gift, I didn't think I would be using it. To my surprise, I rather like it! Well made and super soft to the touch, it absorbs water well without feeling damp and dries super fast.
Small have to have
Personally, I like those scratchy, thin towels at cheap hotels better than the thick, fluffy, virtually non-absorbent ones in luxury hotels. This Joolca towel is not scratchy, it is smooth. It is not fluffy, it is thin. I’ve been using two of them for over two weeks now in my home. Never washed them once. I throw one over my head and shoulders, and over my boobs, and use the second one as a wrap skirt around my lower body. I could walk “naked” through church this way. Very concealing. Are they cozy like a blankie? Nope. Do they miraculously dry fast, and stay clean and odor-free? Yes.. Some folks will not be happy with how thin and microfiber-ish they are, but I am really looking forward to my months-long “van life” road trip and having quick-dry, odor-free towels with me instead of conventional terry cloth towels will have its benefits. I bought 4, so I’ll always have two pristine ones at hand if/when the other two need to be swapped out. And all 4 towels take up less space than a single conventional terry towel.
